Privacy Policy

Last Updated: June 17, 2026

Welcome to Angana (together with the RestoFlow mobile applications, the "Service"). We are committed to protecting the privacy of our restaurant partners and their dining customers. This Privacy Policy details how we handle information across our mobile restaurant console, web client menu interfaces, and cloud servers.

1. Information Collected & Usage Justifications

Our services process operational restaurant metrics and customer dining inputs. The specific data categories include:

  • Restaurant Profile Data: Restaurant name, billing configurations, tax details (CGST/SGST/Cess), and branding assets (such as logos and cover photos) uploaded by admin users.
  • Menu Catalog: Product offerings, dish titles, descriptions, categories, availability statuses, prices, and image URLs.
  • Transaction & Dining Data: Customer checkout packages containing table codes, item quantities, total amount calculations, custom order notes, and staff terminal response actions.

2. Device Permissions & Hardware Usage

The RestoFlow admin mobile application requests specific device permissions to facilitate physical bill receipt generation:

📱 Bluetooth Permissions (Android & iOS)

Used to discover, establish communication with, and transmit receipt layouts directly to local 58mm/80mm thermal receipt printers.
Required fields: BLUETOOTH, BLUETOOTH_ADMIN, BLUETOOTH_SCAN, and BLUETOOTH_CONNECT.

📍 Fine Location Permission (Android 11 & Older)

Required solely for executing Bluetooth scans on devices running older Android versions.
Note: We do not capture, record, store, or transmit your device's geographical location. Location data is processed purely client-side by the operating system to support Bluetooth discovery.

3. Customer QR Self-Ordering System

When a restaurant customer scans an Angana Table QR code:

  • No registration or account creation is required for the diner to browse menu items.
  • We do not collect customer names, phone numbers, or private personal identifiers unless explicitly entered in the order notes (e.g., specific food allergies or requests).
  • The customer's order is linked purely to a specific table identifier to coordinate meal preparation in the kitchen.

4. Data Storage, Retention & Sharing

  • Hosting: All restaurant configurations and transactional records are stored on secure cloud database servers.
  • Sharing: We do not sell, rent, monetize, or share restaurant statistics or customer dining profiles with third-party advertising companies.
  • Retention: Transactional order logs are stored to provide sales history for the restaurant and are retained until deleted by the restaurant administrator.

5. Security

We implement industrial-standard encryption and safety controls (such as secure HTTPS connections) to prevent unauthorized access, modification, disclosure, or destruction of stored configurations and database tables.

6. User Controls & Deletion Requests

Restaurant administrators retain full control over their account data. If you wish to delete your restaurant profile, catalog items, sales history, or request a complete wipe of your database records, you may email us directly at the address below.
